Drove up on this guy perched above a deer kill on the side of the road. Not much time to get out and snap some shots, but I think I did OK

Those are some great shots. We have been camping at "The Lost Lake", west of Sisters (Oregon) and 2 Bold Eagles often were chasing the Ospreys off the water. But... without a long lens they only remain memories. You did great!

I'm often amazed at how complacent animals have become to vehicles.....you can pull up & park and they're used to seeing us it doesn't bother them. But the minute you open the door with a Canon.. oh no..
