I thought I would start a thread to help facilitate folks finding a team for the UPO challenge. Post up here if you are solo and want to join a team, or if you are a team looking for more people.

Anybody want a full-size on their team? I have new suspension to keep up with the little IFS rigs this year.

Me and Sig are solo if anyone needs a fat guy that can read maps/gps decently and a dog that can chase off bears. Our truck isn't anything special, just a '00 Gmc Jimmy, but there's not a whole lot of places it can't go. We've camped in the U.P. 3 or 4 times a year since 2005 so we're "fairly" familliar with some of the areas we'll be going to.

I need to find a team as well. I'll have my 6yo son with me. Not sure about my wife, I think I scared her off with talk of 4 nights of rustic camping.

I'm new to the forums here, but definitely not new to Jeeping/camping/overland exploration. I just posted my "credentials" in the introduce yourself section. I like opie's idea of having a team geared towards those with kids, so that they can be somewhat self entertained as a group.

I know TJ + Amy & I aren't "competing" so we'd be additions to a team with kids. I will likely Roam around a bit and connect with different groups as I'm working up the video concept and will need to make my rounds.
