The trails down south are just terrible, they are pretty much glare ice with a dusting of snow on top. We haven't gotten a measurable about of snow down here since mid dec, it sucks bad. We did a large loop on Saturday that turned out to be maybe 90 miles or so, Iron Mountain to Florence, WI. up to Crystal Falls, MI. then over to Sagola and back home. Up around Sagola the icy twisty trails got the better of Jaeme. A combination of going a bit to fast and I think either slow reaction or no reaction, she doesn't like to use the brakes, she didn't make the last turn and struck a tree just off the trail. She got thrown over the front of the sled and luckily missed the tree. We had a heck of a time dragging the sled back onto the trail, but after that it was only a matter of securing the hood and windshield good enough to make the trip home. Hopefully I should be able to get the sled back together. The hood and the front part of the belly pan are not broken, they are pretty flexible, but the inner structure, the hood hing mount, and front bumper are pretty mangled.

Anyone got parts for a 95 skidoo formula?

Holy shit-balls!! She is lucky. :o
I agree, the conditions are absolutely embarrassing right now. Had a local go through the ice trying to get to Grand Island this weekend. 38 minutes in the drink and survived after S.A.R. showed up to extract.

There are a ton of parts sleds / cheap sleds on CL right now: http://up.craigslist.org
The trees always win :shaker:

I seen that, same year, half the miles plus electric start... Probably not much more than what its going to cost to get replacment parts!

This would be good, Jaeme's sled doesnt have elect start, she can't pull start that big 500 when its cold... I have to start the damn thing when its cold! Its not like my Polaris either, mine pulls so easy compared to hers.

Very glad she is Ok. We must have your snow. After seeing my dead lawn for quite a while it's all snowed up again and more is coming.
