We crave adventure. Our pace is typically slow, trying to take it all in. Upper Peninsula Overland enjoys working with local U.P. communities to assist with events focused on adventure activities. Here are a couple of recent events we've assisted with (as volunteers) in the Central U.P.

Munising Winterfest is an annual winter festival aimed at sharing the beautiful winter surroundings of Munising, MI with locals and travelers. In conjunction with the U.P. 200 Dog Sled Race, this event offers easy opportunity to enjoy a winter day or weekend. U.P. Overland worked with the Alger County Chamber of Commerce to coordinate a Frozen Waterfall Tour. We had perfect weather and were lucky enough to catch some ice climbers on one of the frozen falls. More information about our trip can be found
on our forum.

The Munising 300 Snowmobile Race is an annual Sno-Cross race held in the Munising, MI area. The course typically changes each year. This year, U.P. Overland volunteered to clear the race course with other local riders. Pictures from our trail clearing ride can be found On the forum. This year the course was just shy of 16 miles and an absolute challenge. U.P. Overland, along with fellow photographer Steve Tracey, posted up at Checkpoint 3 to capture photos, videos, and assist with traffic control at the road crossing.
You can check out more race photos, videos and information on the Munising 300 Facebook Page: ![]()
We also have a post trip write up with larger photos On the forum in our
Snowmobile Central Section.
In the meantime, here's a snapshot of what's
going on with U.P. Overland on Twitter.
